College Decision Stress
My options are UCSD, UCSB, U of San Diego, and CU Boulder. I visited all the campuses except for CU Boulder which I will be visiting next week and I liked all of them (except for UCSD), but I didn’t love any of them. And I was all ready to go to USD or UCSB but then I found out UCSD has one of the highest ranked neuroscience undergraduate majors out of the country and some of the professors are actually working on the Brain Initiative, which is pretty f-ing awesome. I really hated the campus though, but should I base my decision off of looks alone? I also visited the last day of finals so the students who were on campus were pretty reticent and unfriendly. So, as of now I think I’m leaning towards UCSD solely for the academics, but then I think about everyone saying you should choose the school that makes you the happiest and well UCSD wouldn’t be my first choice for that… and then there are all these things such as the “Triton Eye” and UC Socially Dead. HELP ME CHOOSE UCSD PROSPIES OR CURRENT STUDENTS
